Chillin'...
So, even though there is a ton of things for me to do I'm outside sitting on the patio! I would be working on the project I need to, but it's just too nice to be inside. It has been quite the heatwave this past week where all you want to do is stay inside, but this evening it is freakin' wonderful so all I want to do is stay outside! I'd hate to pass up this opportunity to be outside when it might not be this cool in the evenings until fall...who knows?
Today was quite the eventful day at work...a Tornado Warning sent all of us scrambling for the inner hallways. Luckily there wasn't bad weather in the part of town where we were. There was wind damage at the airport, but from the way it sounded there wasn't tornado damage (that I've heard of anyway). One of the worst thing about having the tornado warning was not being able to get back into the groove after it had cleared. It seemed like there was a lot of DUMB in the air today and this tornado warning seemed to flood all of it into full force. Today there were a lot of those "Holy Sh**, are you freakin' kidding me?" moments where you want to check yourself and others into the insane asylum! Some people just need a major reality check...that's the best way to describe it.
I had to laugh today...I had to stop at the funeral home after work to check out one of their computers. When I left I had a text message saying "R u @ the funeral home?", since someone had saw my vehicle sitting there. I had replied letting them know I was only there to work on their computer. After a while they called me to say they just wanted to make sure I hadn't drive myself to the funeral home to check myself in. I just have to laugh at some people's humors. After the work day I had, I was almost ready to start making reservations!
This is quite the setup...Patio, Netbook, Glass of water, Pandora Radio and a cool breeze. Normally you wouldn't find me sitting still for this long, but this is just too good to pass up!
If all summer nights were like this, I would be one happy camper!
