Storm Damage...
Today we had a little (note sarcasm) problem at work. During the night we had straight line winds that ripped open one end of our building. It peeled away some shingles, siding, plywood and insulation...what a freakin' mess! I snapped a few pictures of the damage on the inside of the building...
(All the blow-in insulation kept falling...it looked like it was snowing. ... I don't think I would eat it though!)
(Between the wind and the rain-soaked tiles, it mangled the ceiling and supports.)
(More falling tiles.)
(I have a feeling there were some equipment casualties...)
(Another picture of the damage.)
(I took a picture of Chuck taking a picture of the damage.)
(Yes, there was light shining in...No, we don't have skylights!)
(Marcy starting the clean-up process of the salvageable equipment.)
Not only did our building get hit with straight-line winds, but others around town did also. The Ice House Lube & Wash had the roof torn off of the service bay, a strip mall had the awning ripped off, there were car ports flipped over, trees ripped out of the ground and power poles snapped in half. I'm just glad it hit Kirksville instead of here at home...kinda...I still had to help clean up at work!
