Sons'a "BEE"ches...
All I wanted to do was sit out of the patio and enjoy the cool evening air, but NO! Stupid Carpenter Bees have taken the thing over. I've heard the stupid things can't actually sting you, but they can bite you...Great!
I went out earlier and tried to get some pictures of the Sweet Williams that are growing out back along the neighbor's fenceline. This is the first year that I've noticed them growing back there.
I went up to Mom and Dad's house earlier and wandered around outside. "Mama Cat", as we call her, had a litter of kittens and this is one of them...

Blooms on the Black Locust trees across from the apartment...
*** UPDATE ***
I had a little battle with the carpenter bees a little while ago...I did some damage to their population...Me...A Flyswatter...And my sandal to step on them... There's a few carpenter bee carcasses now laying around on the patio..serves them right, those dirty boogers! I didn't get all of them, but there isn't quite as many as there was a little bit ago! I'm hoping that none of the neighbor's were watching...otherwise I might now be know as the crazy, flyswatter-wielding neighbor! I did have one flyswatter casualty though. Now that I'm able to sit out of the patio without getting severely dive-bombed...I'm enjoying it. I can small the Black Locust tree blooms...and they smell AWESOME! Even though my sense of smell is stimulated...SO. IS. MY. ALLERGIES... SUCK-O-LA!
