Almost There...
Tuesday marked the end of Week #16 on "The Plan" and my weigh in...and I have almost make it to my first goal! This week marked 47 pounds that I have lost...so that means I have just three more pounds to lose to make it to my 50 pound goal. Once I had reached 40 pounds, I set me goal to hopefully lost the last ten pounds by my birthday, which is July 19th...at this rate I should be able to easily make that goal!
I have this feeling it's going to be a little slow going to make my goal over the next week. Starting Tuesday evening I fell off of The Plan Wagon (and I think it ran me over...maybe 5 times). It's been a matter of the I'm-Not-Going-To-Be-Home-Much-Eat-What-Is-Available habits. Tuesday evening I headed out to work on a computer and didn't make it back to town until 8:00ish, so I stopped by and grabbed a bite to eat at Buddy's. Wednesday in a rush out the door to make it to work, I forgot my Smart Ones meal on the table. In the process of leaving for work I discovered my Jeep had a mechanical issue, so Wednesday evening was a matter of dropping my Jeep off and eating at Mom and Dad's house. Today I forgot my lunch again, so I ordered out with everyone else. And then this evening involved headed over and picking up my Jeep from being repaired and then my Meema offered supper for me. Tomorrow I'm hoping that I can actually remember my lunch and somewhat stick with "The Plan"...and I'm hoping to have enough energy when the alarm goes off to do some Zumba to burn a few calories.
I know starting Sunday things won't be pretty since the 4th of July is approaching and that means some celebrational parties...which typically means...FOOD! Hopefully in the days between the parties I can work extra hard and work off some problem calories...I guess I'll just have to wait and see!
This week my savior of sanity this week has been music... I've been hooked on this awesome song called Some Nights by fun. It has a great that puts me in a good mood when I listen to it...and unfortunately this beat gets stuck in my head while I'm trying to other things at work! I did a little New Music Tuesday shopping and did some bargain hunting for Maroon 5's new album "Overexposed". I had found it for $4.99 on Amazon and it was $11.xx on iTunes. While I was in the process of downloading it through Amazon I discovered that I had enough free song credits from Pepsi that I didn't have to pay a penny for it! That's double the awesomeness! I haven't had much time to listen to the CD since it had been left in my Jeep while it was being repaired and also since I haven't been home much. Now that Pearl is out of the shop, I can listen to the CD on the way to work!
I'm just glad that tomorrow is finally Friday! The last two days at work have felt like Friday, which seems to make the week feel that much longer! Sometime tomorrow after work me and a friend/coworker are going to watch a movie. Even though we haven't decided on the movie just yet, it should be a fun time as usual.
Well...it's time for me to close the laptop and go to sleep. Maybe if I have enough energy when I wake up, I can get some exercise in to jumpstart the day...
