Wandering Mind...
It was my greatest intention to get a lot accomplished this evening. I knew exactly what I was going to do after I got off of work...make a quick trip to Wal-Mart and then head straight home and work on what needed to be done. Unfortunately, my mind got to wandering or something and I never could focus on the task at hand! Gosh, how I miss those times when multitasking was not an issue...most people want this or that, well I just want to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time again. I contribute it to some procrastination and staying up too late/inability to fall asleep...an active mind doesn't work well with trying to sleep. I'm hoping to get things caught up over the next couple of days, and hopefully that will put my weary, wandering mind at ease (maybe).
Of course when I'm not sleeping or thinking of other things, my mind is like a jukebox stuck on shuffle and/or repeat always playing some song in my head...
Here's just a small sampling of the songs that are taunting my mind currently...

Here's just a small sampling of the songs that are taunting my mind currently...
- Don't Stop (Color on the Walls) by Foster The People (This one is #1 on repeat offender list...saw the video once on VEVO, and then saw the song listed in iTunes, so it was stuck in my head)
- What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) by Kelly Clarkson (I had heard this one before, but a coworker friend resurrected the song in my head...Gee thanks Ria!)
- Trouble by Pink (This was on a movie preview at the beginning of the Abduction DVD)
- Without You by David Guetta feat. Usher (Heard this one once and it was stuck in my noggin)
- We Found Love by Rihanna feat. Chris Harris (This one is to blame on Ria, my coworker friend)
- New York, New York by Ryan Adams (Somewhat to blame on Ria, she pointed me towards the artist and I found the song)
- Crash Your Party by Karmin (Heard this VERY DUMB SONG and now it is stuck all up in my head!)
- Storm Warning by Hunter Hayes (I had been hearing this song a lot while I was covering the front desk at work. I didn't like the song the first few times I heard it, but now it's stuck and I like it.)
