Sunset & Cooking
Tonight while I was cooking supper I noticed quite a cool sunset. I didn't get it at it's "peak" but still turned out really neat...
Decided to make my hamburger stew (or whatever you want to call it). After I dumped a bulk of the veggies into the pot I thought it looked quite nice...SOOOO...I took a picture.
When I inserted my memory card I noticed an older picture that I had taken this summer of the stairs that lead up to the top of the old Strand Theater building. To me I think this is one of the neatest buildings in Lancaster. The brick is in that weathered stage you can't find just anywhere and the ironwork on the railing is very unique. I've taken a couple senior pictures there and a family picture there also. There's more subtle details about the building that give it character. The front is nothing really to look at other than the steel columns to either side of the doorway, but the sides and back have some neat features. There's been talk of tearing the building down, but it would be great if there was a way to preserve it. Anyway...here's a couple of pictures to go with it...

(At this point there's hamburger, tomatoes, onion, carrots, celery and beef bouillon cubes)
