The Tree

I was taking some pictures of the tonight's golden glow on the trees, and stumbled across this photo opportunity.  I don't think I've noticed the sun hitting the tree like this before.  It seemed to almost be glowing from the inside out with the sun hitting the under sides of the leaves.  On top of that, the sun was hitting a small patch of grass under the tree, making it almost look like the tree was lighting that up too.

I've lived in this apartment for 9 (long) years, but whenever I find a house to buy I am going to miss this view so much.  The only thing that it's missing for sunset views is a nice pond.  It has a nice maple tree, a pine tree, a hayfield, peonies and sweet Williams in the spring and a variety of other things.  There has been many photos taken either from out my window or in the back yard of the apartment.

When I find a house to buy, I may miss the view but I sure as hell will not miss the neighbors!
