Tea Roses

Mom's tiny Tea Roses finally started to all bloom out.  Last weekend just a few had popped open, but there was a major difference this weekend.    Mom has always loved these, just for the fact that they are so small and dainty.

I'm very appreciative of this time of year.  The trees are fully leaved out, flowers are planted, and the wildflowers are blooming.  I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't manage to get any pictures of the wild Sweet Williams.  There's always a large patch that grows along one of the streets here in town and extends down where the old railroad tracks use to be.  The open to bloom at different times, which gives a variation of pale purples to deep violets.

I'm hoping to keep myself less occupied this summer and have more of an opportunity to snap some pictures.  With last year being overwhelmed with taking and editing pictures, it definitely brought me to a realization that I need to slow down and take more time for myself.  I can see more time to take the pictures that I want to in my future this summer.
