2013...
Well. Here it is. 2013.
Not much has changed here at Casa de Jonathan, but sometimes no change is the best scenario.
The Mayan's were wrong, the world didn't end in 2012...the "fiscal cliff" turned into a "fiscal kiddie slide" (for now)...Taylor Swift didn't make Entertainer of the Year in country music (thus proving she's less popular than she thinks she is)...
2012 proved to be an exciting year for me...
Although it was a loose, probably not going to happen, New Year's resolution of going to get healthy and lose weight...I did actually get in gear and managed to lose 62 pounds from March to December (although, I tacked a few back on with the holidays...UGH!)
I went to see my first St. Louis Cardinals game at St. Louis ever! I had been to a few Cardinals vs. Royals game at Kansas City, but never seen the Cards play at St. Louis. That was a fun adventure since I had only been to St. Louis to visit one other time.
I've had some fun running around, shopping trips with my great friend Maria this year. We've been to Columbia and Quincy a few times...each with a new restaurant experience since I've lived a "sheltered life".
Another exciting part of 2012 and "The Plan" (as I like to call it) is actually losing enough weight to actually be able to shop in the stores that I could only daydream about because I was too big for the clothes. Although having to buy new clothes sucks financially, it is well worth it mentally and physically. This has put me into a new frame of mind and a new outlook on life.
2013...
The three main things that I have my mind set out to accomplish for 2013 are...
* Meet my goal weight/physique (hoping to mostly accomplish that by my big 10 year class reunion).
* Spend more time relaxing and chilling this summer in the sun.
* Have some fun, make new friends, take more pictures...just LIVE LIFE.
I can only just wait and see what 2013 has in store...I may have my plans, but that isn't always the way things work out!
