Ummm...
It's been a little while since I've posted much of anything. I've had a couple of computers to work on along with touching up and sending off some sports pictures I have taken...needless to say, I've been in that crazy, hectic mode again! I had everything pretty much scheduled out what I was going to work on and when, but allergies intervened and slowed-down/postponed some of the projects.
I'm really beginning to dread when seasonal allergies come around, because they just put me in a deep fog. It is to the point where I pretty much have to take allergy medicine year round and heaven-forbid if I miss a single day when the trees are blooming in the spring or when the weeds are blooming in the fall! Mom has been trying to talk me into getting one of those allergy shots, but I'm not really a huge fan of needles (and when I say "not really"...I actually mean "NOT AT ALL!"). It would probably be a smart thing for me, especially in the spring and fall since allergies effect me so heavily.
I did manage to break out of my fog long enough last weekend to try a new dessert that I thought up. It's on the basis of Black Forest cake (a chocolate cake, with Cool-Whip and cherry pie filling on top), but in trifle form... I baked brownies, cut them up into small chunks, put them as one layer, covered that with a Cool-Whip and cream cheese mixture, then cherry pie filling, and then repeated once more. It turned out really good and tasted freakin' great. Of course, I had to take a few pictures of the process...

(Cutting up the brownies into smaller chunks.)
(Starting the layering process.)
(Finished product. I feel proud because when someone saw it they said "All of your stuff looks so perfect...like it belongs in a magazine..." I try. I'll take that as a compliment!)
Things like this is why I can never lose any weight! At least I do things the smart way... When I make things like this I take them to share with other people for these reasons: (A) Other people are eating it too, so I won't have as much to eat for myself. (B) Other people are eating my not-so-good-for-you-stuff, so I won't be the only one getting fat! Ha! My evil scheme! I really need to quit being nice to others...and when I say that, I mean that I need to quit making treats for them!
