Another Crazy Week

Don't really know that I should be taking the time to sit and write on my blog tonight, but I think it's time for me to try and head straight.

Ever since last week things have been getting a little more crazy.  I had a phone call to work on a couple of laptops for a lady.  The same day that I picked them up my grandma was in the hospital because they think she might have bleeding ulcers...and this is just two days before Christmas.  I took the time Christmas Eve day to visit her in the hospital...and took the time to work on one of the laptops. That evening I headed up to my parent's house to spend the night, because even though it is only 20 miles away, I was unsure if the weather would cooperate where I could make it the next morning.

Christmas morning I woke up and made my dessert for Christmas dinner while Mom and I waited for Dad to wake up and get out of bed.  We took our time opening presents.  This year Santa brought me a new Blu-Ray player, a hunting game for my Wii, a new hoodie, and come kitchen utensils that I needed.  This year Mom got a Wii, keyless entry remote for her truck, a book of useless information, and various things.  Dad got a new chainsaw, a digital camera, the camera necessities, and other stuff. Normally we have Christmas dinner at my grandma's house, but since she was released from the hospital the day prior, we had it at my aunt's house.

Saturday and Sunday were pretty un-eventful, considering it was pretty crummy weather.  Although, Sunday is when things started to go crazy for me.  I received a phone call and a text message to work on computers...come to find out, this is just the beginning.

Monday while at work I received two more phone calls to work on computers.  After work I had to deal with a week's worth of shopping at good ol' Wally World.  When I came home my answering machine was beeping with another request for assistance.  I quickly packed up some things and headed over to Downing to work on one of Sunday's requests.  Come to find out she needed a new printer since her's wasn't compatible with Quicken using Windows Vista 64-Bit Edition (crap!).  Once I was back home again I had to take the time to print out some more gift certificates for Buddy's Place.  By then it was time to eat...good thing I had to take the gift certificates down there and leave a laptop for pick-up(how convenient!).

Tuesday was my normal 8:00 to 4:00 day at work...with another phone call (or two) to work on a computer. Once again had to head over to Wally World, this time to pick up a printer for the lady at Downing   I made a quick stop by home (luckily no missed calls on the answering machine at home) and then headed to Downing.  I got her printer all hooked up and it was taken care of (one more project down!).  I talked to the text message request from Sunday (my cousin Barbara)...she was going try talking to the ISP (that project's possibly cancelled or postponed...a little more off my plate!)

Today at work we headed home early because we were done with our project, so again I headed to Wally World and this time picked up supplies for the New Year's card party.  When I was back in Lancaster I picked up one more of the computers to work on, quickly ran it to the apartment, and then headed towards Downing to pickup another computer...

So, after all of this I'm finally down to this...
- Return the laptop from Lancaster
- Call the lady from the Downing region and tell her that her hard drive is a "goner"
- Return the second laptop from Memphis
- Check on another computer while I'm in Memphis
- Check in with my mechanic about his wife's computer

Tomorrow evening I will have wedding pictures to take (luckily it's laid back)

Friday night is the New Year's Card Party...I'm really looking forward to that!

Whew! If it's not one thing it's another!
